Description
It is no small thing to paint a meadow, as every plant has to be painted in from the background forwards, paying attention to scale and perspective and making more distant flowers more muted. It’s not surprising that I ran out of enthusiasm half way down the painting and it remained unfinished for quite a while! However, I rose to the challenge once more and am very pleased with the result.
The painting is oil paint on canvas. The picture continues around the edges so it can be hung unframed if desired.
The painting measures 60cm square and is 2cm deep.
