Description
This painting is based on Isaiah 40: 30-31 which says, “Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
“Isaiah 40 has spoken to me a lot during the pandemic. I wanted to show the “soaring on eagles’ wings” part, but also the “hoping on the Lord” when you feel as if you are lost in a fog and call out to God to hear and strengthen you. We may feel weak and powerless, but if we are hoping in the Lord, we are anything but. He clothes us with his strength and gives us wings to soar.” Sue

This is an oil painting on canvas, painted around the edge of the canvas so it can be hung unframed if desired. The dimensions are 35cm by 60cm.
