The painting is oil on canvas, framed with a flat white 4cm frame, which leaves a 1cm gap around the picture so you can see the edge of the canvas. The canvas size is 50cm by 60cm. The overall size is 61cm by 70cm.
Painting tip: “A ‘simple’ painting such as this can take a very long time to paint, as it requires each layer to dry before the next is added. Don’t try to rush painting the next layer. Oil painting develops patience and it’s worth learning to work with the paint not against it. “ Sue Newham
